BKids Nerf Night
Brookfield’s Kids Club recruits you to our Nerf Night! Our Kids Club of K-5th meets regularly from 7-8:15 and will be spend this Wednesday battling it out in the basement of Brookfield Bible Church. We have nearly 100 nerf guns and over 10,000 nerf rounds so there is no need to bring your own (however you are welcome to bring an Elite/Rival shooting blaster.). All guns will be tested for safety and provided glasses will be worn at all times. Alongside the fun, anticipate hearing from God’s Word as we continue our three-year study through the Bible. For first time guests to our kid’s club, we highly recommend trying to arrive between 6:40 and 6:50 to register.
ENGLISH CONNECTION every Thursday until May 28
During the school year, adult English classes are held on Thursday evenings. These immersive classes will assist adult learners with their English skills, meeting them at their level of comprehension.
Our goal is to share the gospel in both word and deed as we meet a need in the community. If you love Jesus and speak English, consider being a volunteer in the classrooms!

Hypostatic union—Jesus as fully God and fully human
Christ's Transcendence—that He is above and beyond all creation. He is holy, eternal, and sovereign.

Coram Deo—living every moment in the presence of God.
Pneumatology—the Holy Spirit, His role, and His work in our lives
. . . and so much more!

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
I hope you’re having a great week, have all your Christmas shopping done (okay… probably not ), and are finding a little space in the busyness to get your heart ready for the true meaning of Christmas.
As we head into this weekend, I’ve been thinking a lot about the simple joy of inviting someone to join us for our 10:30 Sunday Morning Christmas Service. Sometimes it’s as easy as a quick text, a conversation over the fence, or that gentle nudge from the Holy Spirit that says, “This is the one.”
I sent a text this week to the families of the kids I coach (6th–8th graders). If you happen to think about it, I’d really appreciate your prayers over those invites. And please know this—we are praying for the invitations you’re sending out too.
Over the next day or so, I’m also planning to invite a few new neighbors to worship with us this Sunday and on Christmas Eve. One neighbor just moved in next door, and I’ve loved getting to know her. She was especially excited to show me how she decorated her Jeep for Christmas (it’s quite a sight—I’ll have to grab a picture and show you!). I’m looking forward to inviting her to experience Christmas with my church family at Brookfield.
If there are any specific invitations you’d like our staff to cover in prayer, we’d be honored to do that—just let me know (jon@brookfieldbiblechurch.org).
I’m so thankful for each of you. Keep being the light, sharing the hope, and spreading the joy of Christmas in the everyday, ordinary moments.
Jon

These next weeks, we will be exploring and walking through Paul’s letter to the churches of Galatia inspired by the Holy Spirit. This letter is packed with the good news of God’s grace as Paul first gives personal experiential testimony of it. Secondly, he gives us foundational and doctrinal instructions of this grace. Lastly, he gives us practical guidance and application to us according to this amazing grace!
Please come join us as we dig into the riches of this foundational encouragement in the word of God!

CELEBRATE RECOVERY
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12-step program that provides people the resources and relationships to help recover.
It is a safe place where we gather with other believers who encourage one another and walk the recovery journey with us to overcome our habits, hurts, and hang ups which left unchecked can rob us of our joy. Addiction gets the most notoriety, but anger, depression, anxiety, damaged relationships, co-dependency, abuse, and self-esteem are a few of the many examples of people who have been restored through this ministry.

KINDRED SPIRITS LADIES BIBLE STUDY
KINDRED SPIRITS LADIES BIBLE STUDY
TUESDAYS @ 9:30 AM
Many of God's people through the ages have been called to endure times of hardship, loneliness, and suffering. Some, such as Daniel and Esther, were even members of a race carried away to a foreign land that had never heard of the God of Israel. Their lives were not easy, but even in the midst of trials, these men and women discovered that God was with them--and that He was actively leading the events in their lives.
In this study, pastor John MacArthur will guide you through an in-depth look at the historical period of Israel's exile, beginning with the prophet Daniel being carried off to Babylon, continuing through the rise of the Persian Empire, and concluding with Esther's reign as queen.
